I've worked in the resource based industry sector for 30-years as a senior manager and lived in the Barossa Valley for 10-years. In order to learn the lingo of the Barossa, I completed several courses on wine evaluation and red wine making. I was also a co-founder of a Barossa based wine appreciation group that included several prominent winemakers and vignerons along with passionate wine lovers keen to learn more about wine and winemaking.
Having the association with the Barossa Valley, I'm often called on by friends and business colleagues to help them buy good wines. The wine menu usually gets handed to me at restaurants.
So here I am, indulging my passion and sharing the love. My aim is to provide a virtual wine region tour and cellar door experience to other lovers of outstanding premium Barossa wines, especially those who can't get to the Barossa on a regular basis.
When I'm not sourcing the best wines from the Barossa Valley, I help businesses reduce their energy costs.
