To save you the time and the hassle of trying to choose a selection of six wines, we have recommended collections of six-wines based on themes such as value or variety. All of these wines we have enjoyed ourselves and personally recommend.
These wines punch well above their weight for their price point. They are high-quality wines that you can enjoy with your meal at night without having to resort to "quaffers" or you can take them along to family gatherings where they will be the "pick of the wines".
These great examples of Barossa Wine are great wines to take to dinner parties to impress your friends with your ability to find fantastic wines.

The Barossa Valley is famous around the world for its Shiraz, or Syrah as it is also known, and we have recommended six great value and excellent quality Shiraz that showcase the Barossa Valley region including the cooler Eden Valley sub-region.
The Barossa is best known for Shiraz, The Rhone blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro (GSM) and Eden Valley Riesling.
In more recent years, some winemakers have started to make lesser-known (in Australia) Italian varietal wines with superb results.
This is a collection of some of the best Italian varietals from the Barossa and will be of interest to those who enjoy trying great quality, interesting wines.
The Barossa Valley is better known for red wines, particularly Shiraz and GSM blends. The cooler sub-region of Eden Valley is well known for fantastic Riesling.
This collection has three superb examples Eden Valley Rieslings along with three lesser-known varieties.
The Barossa Winemaker of the Year award recognises a Barossa winemaker who utilises premium Barossa grapes and who has made or is making a significant contribution to the industry in the areas of sustainability, research, quality, innovation or technical excellence. Grenache is making a comeback in Australia. This collection exemplifies Barossa Grenache and Grenache blends. Old vine Grenache has become my favourite variety these days and this collection features highly awarded wines from some of the most prestigious winemakers in the Valley.
The Barossa Valley is best known globally for its high-quality Shiraz. However, there are many other great examples of interesting varieties produced in the Barossa Valley that can expand your wine tasting repertoire for wines of the world. This mixed case of six wines includes three white wines and three red wines.
In March 2021 Accolade Wines and Rolf Binder Wines announced an agreement for the sale of the second generation, family-owned Rolf Binder Wines to the U.S. private equity-owned wine giant Accolade Wines. Rolf and his sister Cynthia will not have an ongoing role with the winery. We love Rolf Binder Wines, as do many of our friends, and have learned much about wines from Rolf (the second) over many years. Unfortunately, as we only focus on small and family-owned wineries in the Barossa Valley we are choosing to not continue to list their wines. However, we do have a small amount of Rolf Binder wines in stock and have put together a few mixed cases of their finest wine including the highly awarded flagship wine, The Hanisch, that sells at the cellar door for $125.00. We have taken 10% off this farewell collection.
Join our club and each quarter we will send you a six-pack consisting of one of the super-premium wines, two of the premium wines and three of the great value wines. We will also take at least 10% off the aggregate value of the wines and provide free delivery. Barossa Club members will receive frequent drinker points for all purchases that they can redeem on future orders.
