About Rollick Wines
Rollick Wines was created by Jack and Tash, two Barossa-born wine lovers who believe great wine should be delicious, welcoming and enjoyed without unnecessary rules or intimidation.
Although they were born just two weeks apart and delivered by the same doctor, family circumstances meant they grew up in different places. They crossed paths again twenty-five years later at a mutual friend’s birthday and have been together ever since.
From One Fiano to Rollick Wines
Jack and Tash had already worked vintages together, travelled through international wine regions and spent time learning directly from growers and winemakers when they produced their first wine as a team.
That first release was a Fiano made for charity. The wine was well received, the experience was rewarding and it became the first step towards establishing Rollick Wines, later inspiring the name of their First Step Fiano.
Their aim is straightforward: produce high-quality, drinkable wines that encourage people to relax, enjoy themselves and become part of the wine journey rather than feel excluded by it.
Meet Jack and Tash
Jack is Rollick’s co-founder and winemaker. Born and raised in the Barossa, he has more than twelve years of winemaking experience across Australia, New Zealand, France and Italy.
His career includes more than seven years with the winemaking team at Henschke, together with international vintages at respected producers including Vietti, Villa Maria and Paul Jaboulet Aîné. His technical experience is balanced by an approachable style and a genuine enjoyment of sharing what he knows.
Tash is Rollick’s co-founder and creative lead. Born in the Barossa but raised largely elsewhere, she brings experience in management consulting, advertising and international travel, having lived in locations including New York, the Netherlands, New Zealand and France.
She also worked alongside Jack during vintages in Australia and overseas. Her role combines brand direction, storytelling and a commitment to making wine culture more inclusive, entertaining and accessible.
The Story Behind the Labels
Every Rollick label shares part of Jack and Tash’s personal story, including how they met and why each grape variety or wine holds particular meaning for them.
The Rollick identity and its “kick up your heels” spirit were developed by their friend and graphic designer Camille. The label artwork was created by contemporary artist Arlon Hall, known as Hally, Jack’s lifelong friend and best man at the couple’s wedding.
Wine, Art and a Sense of Fun
The colourful label design was adapted from an original work in Arlon Hall’s Just Born series, created during an artist residency at Sanskriti Kendra in New Delhi.
Its colour, movement and individuality reflect the type of wine experience Rollick wants to create. Each bottle brings together wine, art and a personal story intended to be shared with friends, family and anyone willing to kick up their heels and enjoy the moment.
