Vintage Comments: A really good vintage of generally mild temperatures after a hot November. Generally fine through harvest with some showers in mid-March. Classic wines were made from Merlot .
Tasting Note: Deep purple colour with red tones, intense complex aromas of sweet spices, wheat fields ,plums are followed by a richly flavoured finely
balanced savoury ,cherry like mid palate with chewy tannin and lingering anise & dark chocolate flavours which finish soft. Great structure to make this wine age & really develop its complexity.
